Directing

Ethan has been freelance directing for the past several years, directing 3 self produced short plays, assistant directing 3 University plays, and winning multiple short film awards.

Three film festival award laurels are displayed, each labeled "Gold Student Short Drama" with additional categories: "Lead Actor," "Award," and "Set Design." They are from the 2023 Focus International Film Festival. A person is curled up on the floor in the background.

Short films

With no budget, and just his own camera Ethan tries to make experimental and interesting short films in their free time. Funded by himself and usually acting as director and performer Ethan tries to use films to get other artistic friends together to make fun and interesting work together that they can all be proud of.

For his work Ethan was even interviewed by Canvas Rebel about how they go about making film as an autistic no budget filmmaker.

New works are the name of the game when it comes to Ethan’s theater directing work. Though he strives to work on the established plays that inspire his acting and directing Philosophies, he also enjoys bringing new works to life, collaborating with Playwrights, actors, and the whole crew to create an original piece that has never been done before.
